Your Writing

And, though you think you’ll never speak
As golden poets do,
That doesn’t mean your voice is weak
Or you aren’t going to.

For, though I know it might sound odd
To say you’ve got it all,
You’re one with no one less than God,
Whose writing’s on the wall.

So raise your language to the height
The sun’s above your head;
A writer’s one who needs to write
And puts their fear to bed.

So say what’s in your heart to say;
The world can’t wait another day.
