And, when I look beyond my mind,
I see the world anew,
And all my sorrow’s left behind,
My fear and longing, too.
And everything begins to shine,
As if emitting light,
And, seeing as it mirrors mine,
I’m dazzled by the sight.
And joy erupts within my heart
And spreads throughout my frame,
As if I know, though at the start,
I’m bound to win the game.
And, when I think, it hurts no more,
Since this is what I’m living for.
