Behind each hill, there stands
One higher than before,
And climbing it demands
The strength you’ve got in store.
And, walking through the vale
That separates the hills,
You feel your courage fail
Beneath the weight of ills.
And, when at last you start
The brutal, endless climb,
It feels as if your heart
Shall murder you this time,
And yet you reach the top
To face the fateful drop.
