You’ve never slept this well before;
You wake up when it’s light,
Instead of mining precious ore
Throughout the blessed night.
And, though you think you’ve left behind
Your vigour in the dark,
It’s nowhere written that your mind
Must strike the faintest spark;
You’re free to greet the coming day
In any way you please,
And be that “wasting life away”
By standing at your ease.
You could become an artist, though,
And wow the world with every show.
