There’s nowhere you’re “supposed” to be;
Life’s much too chill for that.
Forget a cabin by the sea
Or some big city flat.
It doesn’t matter where you are;
You could possess a fort
Or rent a place above a bar
In some commercial port.
That doesn’t mean that you can’t change;
And free you are to, too.
So start a homestead on the range
If that’s what interests you.
Just know that that’s no more your “fate”
Than living in a packing crate.
