And, through the open window, see!
You! Standing at the barre!
About as lovely as can be,
How wonderful…

You give me every reason
To do the things I do;
If loving’s out of season,
That comes…

Two nights we’ve been together
And sung love’s sweetest song,
And now I’m wondering whether
You’ll stay…

And, just like that, my life rings true,
As never once before:
I’m on this Earth to be with you,

It’s such a joy to be with you
Beneath the singing stars
That tell us that they never knew

The side of power and strength,
