Let me see the light within you shine;
It’s dark enough without your gloom.
Everywhere you look, you see decline;
That’s why you stay shut in your room.
When you eye the hereafter,
It’s with anguish and dread;
So you choke back your laughter,
When you should be smiling, instead.
So, come on, shake that frown from off your brow;
Inside, you’re bright as any sun.
All there ever is is here and now,
And all these things are truly one.
There’s no point in your waiting –
Waiting for some kind of sign.
Life thought you worth creating;
All you have to do is shine.
So let me see the light within you shine.
