God’s Will

There’s no divining what God wills;
It baffles all day long
And seems to favour those whose skills
Are bent on doing wrong.

And murder, torture and abuse
Are rife as a result,
And life’s left dangling in the noose
Of Death’s destructive cult.

And yet this is a paradise,
As God meant it to be,
But humankind must pay the price
Of His will’s being free.

Although the heart of Justice breaks,
It’s true God doesn’t make mistakes.
