What’s wrong with me? What’s wrong with me?
My mind’s in such confusion.
I like to think it wouldn’t be
If I could ditch delusion.
But doing so would break my heart;
At least, that’s one opinion.
Another sees that play its part
In founding some dominion.
And so my life goes off the rails,
And, where it leads, I follow.
Meanwhile, my mind’s been chewing nails
And seems about to swallow.
If mind were all it’s said to be,
Then it’d know what’s wrong with me.
