To be aware when mind’s a blank
Is not so much a goal
Like having money in the bank
Or pulling off some role.
Instead, it’s being who you are
With nothing added on,
As if you were a deathless star
That’s always shone and shone.
So rise above the constant noise
That goes on in your head,
And be the watcher who enjoys
Tranquillity, instead.
And rest assured that, if you do,
The love of God shall be with you.
