Castle of Light

Serene and pristine is my castle of light,
Without any turrets or walls.
It shines like the sun both by day and by night,
And harmony reigns in its halls.

No thousand-strong army could take it by storm,
Since everyone here is its guest.
Without giving notice, it changes its form
To fit what each person likes best.

Its gardens are crowded with sweet-smelling flowers,
And yet there’s no shortage of space;
I’m able to wander for many long hours
And learn the true meaning of Grace.

In spite of the fact that my castle’s no thing,
That still doesn’t mean that I can’t be its king.
