I think that adverse things occur
To put me to the test;
I’m pushed by him, dismissed by her
And brushed off by the rest.
And all because – the logic goes –
I should become aware
That all these educative woes
Are leading me somewhere.
And so I fall out of a tree
And drop things into lakes
And hope to be a better me
Who doesn’t mind mistakes.
It takes a convoluted mind
To think that hardships are designed.
