And, after all the murky days
Which reigned throughout my youth,
The sun comes out to lift the haze
And bathe the world in truth.
Not only that, but each thing’s made
Of knowing’s golden light,
So I no longer feel afraid
Or moan about my plight.
And so the love that conquers all
Supplants both time and space,
And peace demolishes each wall,
And beauty takes its place.
And God’s own face is shown to me,
And it’s as happy as can be.
