While it’s true the planet’s flawed,
That doesn’t mean you love it less;
You still can be quite overawed,
Although the whole thing’s in a mess.
It’s anyway but airy thought
Which thinks it should be “more like this”.
There’s no point getting overwrought
Or forfeiting your right to bliss.
The way it is just corresponds
To how it cannot help but be,
As no commands or magic wands
Can change the turnings of the sea.
So live your life as best you can,
Although it rarely goes to plan.
