And, even after all this time,
I still desire success,
Despite the fact my life’s sublime
And free from all distress.
As such, I’m like a mighty snake
That wants to be a frog,
And, rather than command the lake,
I ribbit in the fog.
Success is such a tiny part
Of life’s enormous whole,
And yet I’ve set my lion’s heart
On sinking to that goal.
Though equal to the universe,
I wish that I was something worse.
