I don’t know how we got
From over there to here –
How anything that’s not
Can just – ta-da! – appear.
It seems a bit bizarre –
If not to say absurd –
To say things simply are
Because God gave the word.
Yet can they have evolved,
As science says they’ve done,
And thinks, thereby, it’s solved
The case for everyone?
It all seems so far-fetched,
But when’s the truth not stretched?
