I didn’t see the screen or stage;
I only saw the light
That had been shining for an age,
Through both the day and night.
As true as the eternal flame,
As bright as any spark
And, just as if it knew my name,
It called me through the dark.
And I was pleased to go to where
Its voice should choose to lead
Since truth is neither here nor there
But everywhere, indeed.
And now I’m like the very sun
That’s all in all and one in one.
