Epiphany

It’s not my part to stand alone
But take part in the whole;
Although I’m human to the bone,
I’m universal soul.

As such, I don’t identify
With either this or that.
Why pass myself off as a lie
When truth is where it’s at?

And so I take the whole world in
And neither hem nor haw;
Of all the places I have been,
This fills me up with awe.

And, even when I breathe my last,
My lungs are like the cosmos – vast!
